Real Freedom

I HAVE A LIFE OF TOTAL & UTTER FREEDOM …

No commitments!

No obligations!

No responsibilities!

“But they aren’t the ingredients of real freedom!”

.

REAL FREEDOM is when I can make a commitment to a relationship and remember I’m free to focus on whatever aspects of the other person I choose and feel really good, no matter how they’re behaving.

REAL FREEDOM is when I can feel obligation to do work that may have lost it’s inner appeal but still know I’m free to focus on acknowledging the incredible outer benefits as well.

REAL FREEDOM is when I can be in a country where lots of things might appear as if they’re unjust, unconscionable and unfair but deliberately take the time to feel the freedom of imagining how they could be instead.

REAL FREEDOM is when I can live in a world where there’s tragedy, trauma and strife and realise I’m still free to enjoy the ever-present beauty of nature, the joyful laughter of children, the scent of a flower, the abundance of fresh air, the warmth of a smile, the conversations that uplift everyone and let myself settle into a feeling of appreciation for the dominant goodness that always abounds.

REAL FREEDOM is when I remember that I’M responsible for whether I’ll keep focusing on the problems or give my attention to solutions, whether I’ll get bogged down by concentrating on weaknesses or lift everybody up by expanding on our strengths, whether I’ll do things out of obligation or feel the freedom to do them because I’ve had fun finding ways to live life with joy, with appreciation, with eagerness, with positive expectation, with the love that I am – NO MATTER WHAT!

When You’re Not Sure What Someone Else Thinks

WHAT SOMEONE ELSE THINKS IS NONE OF MY BUSINESS

When I focus on being true to myself, thinking happy thoughts, having uplifting conversations and doing the things I am most inspired to do, there is no need to ask questions about what someone else might be doing, thinking or feeling.

What I AM thinking and feeling is the only thing that I can ever be certain of and is the only thing that ever really matters.

I Appreciate The Simple Things

I APPRECIATE THE SIMPLE THINGS

I woke up in a comfortable bed with a roof over my head, I breathed in the fresh air outside my window, the birds were singing and the sun shone gently. Like most people, I really enjoy freedom. But the freedom I enjoy more than any other is the freedom to choose to believe that everything is working perfectly for me, just the way it is … now that truly is liberating.

I Found It All Inside Me

I FOUND SATISFACTION INSIDE ME … when I stopped comparing myself to others.

I FOUND FREEDOM INSIDE ME … when I stopped worrying what someone else might think.

I FOUND EASE INSIDE ME… when I stopped trying so hard to be perfect, and right, and good.

I FOUND BETTER HEALTH INSIDE ME … When I stopped looking outside to find a cure for illness and started remembering my natural inner wellness.

I FOUND MORE JOY INSIDE ME … when I stopped doing things out of obligation and started doing them because it made ME feel good.

I FOUND SOLUTIONS INSIDE ME … when I stopped reinforcing the problem and just “allowed” the solution.

I FOUND FULFILLMENT INSIDE ME … When I started to fill myself up first and found out I had so much more to give to others.

I FOUND PEACE INSIDE ME … when I stopped making other peoples choices wrong, when I let them walk their own path and when I just concentrated on enjoying mine.

I FOUND BETTER RESULTS BEGAN INSIDE ME … when I started to imagine everything going really, really well.

I FOUND THAT LOVE CAME SO EASILY TO ME … when I stopped looking at what others were giving and OPENED MYSELF UP to truly receiving.

I FOUND THAT MONEY CAME SO EASILY TO ME … when I stopped trying to find ways to “make it” and just looked for more ways to “have fun”.

I FOUND THAT SUCCESS CAME SO EASILY TO ME … when I stopped working for a living and started playing with my life.

What I wanted was here all the time, waiting patiently for me to become aware of it. ~ (NEW Confessions #705)

You Are Perfect Just The Way You Are

I’M NOT HERE TO FIX YOU

I know you are perfect just the way you are, that you are completely worthy and no longer need to prove it, that you are loved and appreciated more than you will ever know,

and when I give you space to decide what’s right for you, when I trust you’re receiving your own guidance too, when I accept your uniqueness is what makes life sublime, you’ll find your own way too, just as I found mine.

~ an excerpt from 500 Confessions (CONFESSION #326)

I Really Can Have It All

I LOVE TO HAVE IT ALL

DO I WANT TO MAKE A COMMITMENT OR DO I WANT MY FREEDOM? … I can have it all. I can make a commitment and still be completely free to focus my attention on things that make me feel alive, that make me feel good, that make me feel whole.

DO I WANT TO GO TO WORK OR DO I WANT TO GO TO THE BEACH? … I can have it all. I can go to work with such a great attitude and energise myself so much, that I can physically do both and even more.

When I’m faced with a decision like this, I always choose both. I know that anything is possible when I find that trusting feeling, when I put my limitations aside, when I hand it over to the universe and just let it come.

(NEW CONFESSION #930)

What Is Forgiveness?

I UNDERSTAND THE EFFECTS OF FORGIVENESS …

You don’t forgive someone because THEY need it. They usually don’t give a rats what you think!

You forgive someone because YOU need it. You need to live with a full heart, not a heavy one. You need to forget the problems of the past, not take the pain of it along with you. You need to remember your own freedom to focus on what makes you happy, not blame someone else for how you’re feeling.

Forgiveness doesn’t help others in any way at all … But it helps you live more closely to the essence of the loving, non-judgmental, peaceful hearted, empowered creator you really are!

And now I know, that if I never judged anyone in the first place, forgiveness wouldn’t even be necessary. ~ CONFESSION #940

It’s My Life

I WAS BORN TO BE HAPPY, not to behave

… I was born to follow my dreams, not to chase the visions of others.
… I was born to love with all of my heart, not to be afraid that my heart might break.
… I was born to enjoy this moment, to feel its passion, to play, to laugh and to lead with inspiration!
… I was born to live in harmony with my higher self and all of life.
… I was born to be free … and I was born to be ME!
