There are three ways I can respond to situations.
- As if things just happen and my response to them is out of my control.
- As if things just happen and my response to them is based on how other people think I should respond, on how other people have responded in the past, on what society thinks is the “appropriate” response in each situation.
- As if things just happen and I can choose what I will focus on, I can influence the way I respond, I decide what it all means, I mold my own beliefs and create the life of MY dreams.
