What To Do When Something Happens

There are three ways I can respond to situations.

  1. As if things just happen and my response to them is out of my control.
  2. As if things just happen and my response to them is based on how other people think I should respond, on how other people have responded in the past, on what society thinks is the “appropriate” response in each situation.
  3. As if things just happen and I can choose what I will focus on, I can influence the way I respond, I decide what it all means, I mold my own beliefs and create the life of MY dreams.
